Quest-Points for Alliances/Guilds
I am leading a german PvE - Guild that has 8 own guilds in an alliance. Because we are more interested in PvE we have no real need for alliance points or HFFF/FFF. Our intention is questing and playing missions. The most dissapointing for us is that sometimes it seemes that the sense of the game is farming points for alliances now. I know there are a lot of poeple that still have played all campaigns two or more times.
So I considered a few and now my Idea:
What if every Quest or mission in GW will give a new sort of points extra (Quest-Points). It would be possible to give a few points for small Quests and a lot for Missions in Hardmode for example. Every Player that is in a guild will automatic add points after finishing a quest or mission for his guild/alliance. Probably there will be a special NPC available in the guild hall after reaching a number of Quest-Points like (i read in another thread here) a green-weapon trader or a NPC that will sell Party Items, weapons or will allow to add a special to a weapon or armor.
Maybe one option will be that first time the points will be higher for a quest than the second time and so on. Another option could be how many real players are in the group.
Adding the points could be a new Account-title like the often wished Quest-Title.
The nice sideeffect is: There will be more Help in Missions and Quests and i think a lot of players will play more PvE again. A lot of them are actually still farming stupid points - i don´t think thats the intention of Guild Wars
(Sorry for my english - I didn´t use it very often )

No thanx for more titles in the game, and this idea seems a bit of a waste. It sounds like ur looking to make a legendary master of the north title for the entire game. Again, no thanx. And it wouldnt make more pugs, the reason there are no pugs is because hero/hench is better then pugs. Giving people more reason to pve isnt going to make them pug more, just hero hench more.

Naaaah. most of guilds in the alliance I have been recently had no more than 10 faction points. So there are people who do not care. I think the big incentive behind faction points titles and then having control over outpost and getting access to cheaper lockpicks which can be sold with extreme profit when big amounts are being traded.
I agree that title for quests would make people do more pve stuff. However I would not add it to guild/alliance points. The whole guild ladder ideas were originaly based on the competitiveness in pvp not in pve. I would not change that.
On the other hand I think questing title would be much better and more interesting than those standard rep grinding titles. Not sure if it is not too late to add it...

Give quest an Achievement character-based title.Problem solved.
There would be always someone looking for a party to make the hardest ones.
